Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow Blush in Tansoleil

If there's two things you all know about me right now, then it's my love for cream products and Kevyn Aucoin. Cream blushers? A summer beauty essential for fresh, dewy and long lasting cheeks. Kevyn Aucoin? The most influential makeup artist and a total beauty legend who has inspired me and with the help of his incredible products, has taught me the art of makeup. Since I fell in love with his Creamy Sculpting Duo, I thought why not try more of his cream products so picked up one of his Creamy Glow Blush's, which has the name suggests, is the creamiest and glowiest of blushers out there. As the weather warms up, I'm a total cream blush convert and totally avoid powder blush on my face all together, gone are the matte days, it's time to say hello to the healthy cheeks with flawless finishes and a beautiful glow. After trying a few different formula's, I've come to terms with the fact that cream products are far more long lasting on my skin, they keep my skin a lot more hydrated and over all, the finish is far more preferred by myself. I can't get enough of the pinched cheek look they give me and how easy they are to apply in seconds. Without further a do, lets talk about the new blush on the block, that is the

Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow in Tonsoleil. First things first, the formula of this blush is to die for. The soft cream consistency is so slick it gives a beautiful sheen to the cheek without looking greasy or shiny. If you've tried the sculpting duo then think that all packed up into a block of colour which gives your skin an instant boost and pick me up, perfect for a warm summers night. To apply the blush, I simply dab my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush into the colour and swirl it in soft circles, focussing on the tops of my cheeks and finishing off on the apples. This form of application ensures the colour is blended in, sitting beautifully with any other products used. On days when I'm after a super natural, sun kissed look then I literally will dab some concealer under my eye and go in with this on my cheeks, temples, nose, lips for that tropical skin we all wish for in summer. I love how fresh this makes my makeup look and with a coral as peachy and poppy as this, you won't go a day without using it this summer. As previously mentioned, I am a sucker for cream blushers and after trying powders and cream, I've actually discovered that creams last much longer on my skin, they don't slip off and slide about and most importantly, they don't look heavy or flat. The Kevyn blushers are so versatile you can wear them for a toned down no makeup makeup look or you can really work with the product for something long lasting and heat proof, KA has guaranteed you well up to 8 hours wear with these bad bois.

Onto my favourite thing about the blush, the colour. Being a coral blush addict, this was the perfect shade for me and it had to come home with me. The peach toned colour works beautifully worn alone with a light base and a neutral eye so the focus is all on the blush, but I also love wearing it with bronzed up cheeks and a bronze smokey eye. If I'm after the full on GLOWWW then I'll pair this with my Sculpting Duo - add in the chissled cheek bones with the contour shade and add a soft iridescent beam of radiance with the highlight shade. Seriously girls, this is a purchase you won't regret and I can guarantee you, you will be rushing back for me once you've got your first one, I know I will be.

What is your go to blush for Summer?
