My Favourites: March 2020

Welcome to my favourites… A monthly round up where I feature, talk about and photograph my favourite products of the previous month. Some new, some old, these are the best things I’ve put on my face and body and in my hair. As we come out of Winter, March usually features a few new products as I shape up my routines for S/S but as expected, there are some products in here I’ve been using since 2019…

Chanel Tan De Soleil*:

Cult for a reason, this cream to gel bronzer is the best thing as close to a sun-kissed glow. In it’s packaging, it looks like a soft, pillow-like mousse texture but in fact it’s a divine butter like cream consistency that blends seamless onto the skin for a velvety finish. I use this with a large fluffy brush and buff lightly over my cheeks, temples, down my neck and nose for a healthy bronzed glow. It also works as the perfect eye shadow so on days when I’m wearing easy, fuss-free makeup, I’ve been blending it into my crease for a subtle bronzed lid.

Glossier Stretch Concealer*:

Buildable, flexible, enhancing and dewy. Everything this creamy concealer pot offers and it’s been a favourite of mine for years. Worn either on top of a tinted moisturiser to add extra coverage where needed or wore alone on bare skin for ultra natural looking skin, this is the ultimate concealer for girls that love fresh faced beauty. It’s brightening and pigmented but not at all cakey or heavy on the skin. It’s what I like to call, makeup perfection.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Mist*:

I’m a complete face mist obsessive and I can’t think of a day that’s gone by without spritzing my face. Whether I’m at home, sat at my desk or out and about, there will be a face mist to hand. A new one to my routine comes from natural and vegan brand, Herbivore and it’s incredibly chic - pink, packaged in a glass bottle and full of skin hydrating hyaluronic acid and soothing rose water.

Tortware Lucy Comb*:

Speaking of chic, hair accessories don’t get much better than Tort and this marbled pomegranate comb has been gliding through my hair daily. Designed to tease and smooth all whilst keeping hairs texture and style, this has overlooked my brushes recently as it prevents frizz and detangles, without losing my hairs natural wave.

IGK Rich Kid:

My most reached for hair product since walking into my local SpaceNK and sharing my hair problems, asking for a diagnosis. The solution? This. The one product that’s been giving me cool, undone hair everyday of the month. Deeply moisturising but texture building, this coconut oil air dry styler answers all bad hair day woes. Run from the top to ends of damp hair and left to air dry or blow dry, hair appears more wavy with a high shine.
