February Cohorted Box
Another month calls for another beauty box filled with amazing treats from the luxury brands that exist on the market today. Cohorted Beauty have released yet another box, oozing with skincare, scents and high end makeup. Guaranteed five products from five luxury brands, you can subscribe to March's box here. This months Cohorted Black Edition Box* is filled with some fantastic products, each of which I've been trialling and loving this past month.
The most exciting product in the box for me was a beautiful Chanel eye shadow. Packaged in a sleek black pot, we have the Illusion D'Ombre Luminous Eye Shadow, a luxe, silky cream shadow that has a powder consistency, working as a beautiful base or blotted all over the lid. The texture is very different to any I have tried before and despite being a cream, it has a very crumbly formula that tends to drop onto the face, but the finish and results, really are beautiful. I have the shade 91, Apparition, a midnight blue which I've been using as a liner just above my lashes for a smoked out, day to day eye look.
Doves True Tone Underarm Dark Mark Eraser is the first cream product on the market the remove dark marks under the arms which can be caused when we remove underarm hair as the sin is so delicate and can be damaged easily. With this easy to apply cream, the marks can be treated and nourished over night.
There's a perfect Spring lip option in the box from Cargo, an Essential Lipgloss in Rio which is a vibrant coral red, ideal for S/S paired with a golden eye and bronzed cheeks. With an intense pigmentation, these can be worn alone or over a lipstick to add a shine and balmy look.
There's something so luxe about receiving perfume scents in beauty boxes and Marc Jacobs Lola is a lovely handbag scent to carry around on the go. Lola is a floral perfume with high notes of pink peppercorn, pear and grapefruit with a base note of vanilla and tonka bean to create a musky edge.
The most interesting product int he box for me was the Bare Minerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment, a mineral powder you apply over night to help reduce pores, increase cell trunover and improves skins luminosity. Working as a mineral treatment, it's powered by ActiveSoil Complex to help boost younger looking skin that is radiant and replenished over night.
