A Visual Postcard from Croatia
2 flights, 3 ferries, 2 katamaran's, 1 moped and 5 islands (plus 1 sea urchin attack, 1 wasp sting and 1 foot cut open) 6 weeks and 800 photos later. Continuing on my Croatia Travel Series, having done island guides and a 48 hour in Dubrovnik post today I wanted to share some of my favourite photos from our trip in a visual postcard style post. For me, there isn't much that beats blue skies, turquoise waters, reading in the sun, snorkelling and exploring new places, so a six week adventure around Croatia was the perfect trip. There is many a story to tell from this trip and many happy memories filled with laughs, love, food and wine.
The Sôlta Islands
Where we spent every hour of our 3 days here; on the rocks and in the sea.
Most days were spent like this; pure bliss.
Island Brac, Bol
Watching the clouds roll over the mountains whilst waiting for our boat
A morning coffee before our ferry from Bol to Korucla.
Island Korcula; Zavalatica
Post beach walks home in the sunset for an evening of local wines, squid risotto and endless card games.
Looking out towards the town of Sobra where we loved and stayed for almost 2 weeks.
A day at the Mljet National Parks
Our ride for a few days.
Croatia, we loved you and we will be back.
