A Tour Of My Bathroom Shelfie
The big beauty line up…
Hello from inside my bathroom cupboard - the shelves that hold all of my favourite skincare products from treatment masks and acid cleansers to mineral SPF’s, vitamin C oils and green eye gels that rejuvenate and de-puff. This is the post where I list everything I’m currently using on rotation, whether it’s in my daily routine or a weekly treat, I adore each and every one of these skin saviours and I don’t know where my skin would be without them.
The first step in ones morning / evening routine and a mixture of gels, oils, pads and exfoliants that help breakdown and remove makeup, clean my skin until the day has been washed away and keep my complexion soft.
TONERS & MISTS
Multi-tasking heroes that help quench my skins thirst, boost radiance, dissolve dead skin cells, target blemishes and protect from environmental aggressors. These bottles of heaven prep skin perfectly for serums and moisturisers.
Charged up with powerhouse ingredients that target specific concerns, serums are incredibly lightweight meaning they penetrate deep beneath the skins surface to tackle concerns such as hydration, dullness, acne, anti-ageing and more.
A step not to be missed and the one that will prevent signs of ageing, cancer and dull, unhealthy skin.
MOISTURISERS & OILS
The step that locks everything in and acts as a protective barrier for your skin. Coming in all consistencies from light lotions, thick creams to gels and balms, moisturisers have many a use and again, can be targeted for differ net skin concerns. Not to be confused with doing the same as a serum - [moisturisers do not penetrate deep within the skin].
Daily or mid week treats that take your skins health, texture and appearance up a notch. Providing targeted boosts from intensively hydrating, sloughing away at dead skin cells, giving pores a deep clean or combating blemishes, masks can often be vitamin rich and acid based (AHA, BHA, HA, fruits) which provide the perfect skin fix.
