My Top 19 Products from 2019

It’s that time of year again, the time where I round up my top beauty products from the previous year, covering everything from brows to body oils. I’m doing things a little differently this year and instead of doing a product for each category (2018 favourites here) I’ve picked my top 19 products that stood out to me the most. Some oldies, some newbies and some consistent favourites that appear year after year - Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser I’m looking at you.

In no particular order…

Glossier FutureDew*: I said this was in no particular order however, this product is 100% my favourite discovery of the year, despite it launching in October. From the first pump, I was hooked on this dewy, glowy and totally divine skincare product that makes skin look just fabulous. Named an ‘oil serum hybrid’ this has a texture I haven’t ever seen before and at first, one might be unsure but once massaged into the skin, it transforms into a veil of gloss that makes skin gleam with health.
Oskia Renaissance Mask*: The mask of the century and one I truly believe everyone should have in their routine. A peachy butter like balm that coats skin in a fruit enzyme infused mask that increases cell turn-over, removes dead skin cells and gives serious radiance.
Patchology Eye Gels*: Refreshing and reviving, these are the perfect morning pick me up for bright eyes. Even better when stored in the fridge.
Glossier Boy Brow*: Fluffier and more defined brows in a tube. Coming in a clear or tinted shade, this special gel tames stray hairs whilst keeping brows looking thick and healthy.
Clarins Body Lotion: My enthusiasm for this product cannot be put into words. Just believe me when I say this is the best body lotion you’ll ever use, in scent and results.
Glossier Balm Dotcom*: A multi use lip balm that looks great and does the job. I love it, my lips love it and you’ll love it.
Skin Ceuticals HA Intensifier*: Pricy with an expense of £85 a bottle but worth it like you wouldn’t believe. Formulated with a high concentrate of Hyaluronic Acid, Purple Rice and Liquorice Extract, this intensive serum nurtures the skin, feeding it with hydration and elasticity for a firmer, brighter and more even complexion.
Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream*: Designed with Active HydraMesh Technology, this thick cream locks all serums, toners and oils into the skin, acting as a protective barrier to skins microbiome to limit the affects of environmental aggressors and stress. Nothing fancy, just a seriously good moisturiser that does the job.
NudeStix Poppy Girl Nudies Bloom*: This guarantees fresh dewy looking cheeks that shout radiance, health and natural beauty and PoppyGirl, is the shade I wore all Summer long. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser*: Another year, another tube of Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser. Build-able coverage, glowy, long lasting and comfortable on the skin, it’s everything you could ever want in a tinted moisturiser.
This Work Multi Acid Morning Expert Pads*: Alpha Hydroxy Acid infused exfoliating pads that help keep skin clear and breakout free by removing dead skin cells and unclogging blocked pores and calming the complexion. Quick and easy morning exfoliation that your skin will thank you for.
Nuxe Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse*: Turn your skin into a silky paradise with this award-winning, heroic body oil. Light and luxurious, it smells divine and makes limbs glisten.
Omorovicza Silver Skin Tonic*: The most effective non treatment blemish busting product I’ve used that genuinely works at keeping skin clear, happy and calm. Formulated with colloidal silver that is known for its anti bacterial and healing properties, Omorovicza have created something incredibly special. Blemish obey after a week of use, this was a real saviour for me earlier this year.
Glossier YOU Perfume*: The colours of this aren’t the only thing I love about Glossier’s YOU perfume. Its musk scent adapts to everyones skin chemistry, meaning it smells differently on each person, creating a unique, universal scent.
Glossier Stretch Concealer*: The ONLY concealer I plan on using for the foreseeable future. Super creamy, dewy and build-able, it covers dark circles, blemishes and creates the look of ‘perfect skin’ we all crave.
Patchology Blemish Dots*: Over time I’ve found a lot of products marketed to be ‘blemish busting’ are a total fad and I almost lost hope for the entire category, until these came into my life. Salicylic Acid dots that are designed to stick over the blemish to prevent it coming out, or treat an existing spot. They work an absolute treat and are the perfect emergency solution!
Skin Ceuticals Ultra Facial Defense SPF50*: Recommended to me by the skincare guru of all time, Emma Hoareau, this ultra light, easily absorbed SPF wins the SPF of all time award from me. Non greasy and comfortable on the skin, it works beautifully underneath makeup as-well as being a holiday hero.
