Current Makeup on Rotation
There's been a few new products introduced into my daily makeup routine lately, some newbies and some old favourites I've rediscovered and fallen in love with all over again. I'm mixing between nude and red lipsticks, bronzed cheeks, lilac eyes, the feline flick and perfectly pink cheeks. Here's what's currently making it's way in and out of my routine...
There's a few new products I've been reaching for as blush lately, both old favourites that I'd forgotten about from the summer. For an everyday easy, pretty pink, MAC Well Dressed is ideal, the colour is perfect for an instant splash of colour and it keeps your makeup look natural. If I'm having a light base day and some serious glow then I'll use my NARS Orgasm Multiple which is perfect for adding a champagne pink shade with a hint of shimmer. To contour and add some colour all over, I'm using my NARS Laguna Bronzer which lightly defines and enhances without being too heavy.
For eyes I've bee using Clinique Lavish Lilac as an easy everyday shade, the creamy formula applies lightly with a strong pigment and blends all over for a sheer wash of colour. These are perfect quick eye shadow sticks that can be applied on the go or early in the morning when you're still half asleep! For a more bronzey eye, I've been slapping on some Chanel Caroube, another easy on the eye shade that applies seamlessly and lasts all day. I'm loving my Kevyn Aucoin Everyday Mascara* for volume, drama and length and the Accessorize Eye Lover Eyeliner* to line the upper lash line and create a small flick.
Lip wise, I've been using a few nudes including Burberry Kisses Nude 01, a brown nude that is incredibly hydrating and lightweight, Anthropologie Tinted Lip Colour which is a pinky nude and my By Terry Lip Gloss, the most hydrating glossy balm of them all! For a bold lip then the Clarins Rouge Elcat in Red Paprika* has been my top choice for it's intense colour that boosts hydration but seals lips with an incredible wash of colour.
