Whats In My Makeup Bag Right Now

What better a way to kick start the Summer season on JHM than with a post all about the products that are currently sitting in my makeup bag. I haven't done a post like this for ages now, I think my last one was around January, so it's definitely time for an update as many of those products have been pushed to the winter makeup pile and I've been bringing out all the poppy pinks and peachy corals since. When it comes to Spring, the contents of my makeup bag maybe half in size but when Summer comes, they probably half again as I stick to my 'no makeup, makeup' look. With a tinted moisturiser that suits all, highlighting pen to make you glow and some creamy products that I can't live without, lets take a look inside my beautiful makeup bag which is actually a Whistles Clutch.

On a daily basis, my current most reached for base has been the NARS Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturiser. I first had this a few years ago and was completely obsessed but then I was introduced to the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser and everything changed, I was a convert, but for now, I'm back with NARS. With an incredible glow this light coverage formula is easy to apply as it smooths onto the skin seamlessly with either your fingers or a fluffy brush. For concealer I've been non stop using my Estฤ“e Lauder BB Brush On Glow in Light 1 which gives me the bright eyed look I'm after and helps to amp up the glow on my face. I literally stripe this under my eye, blend in and I'm ready for some colours. Bronzer - wise I'm not using the usual NARS Laguna or Soap and Glory Solar Powder, I've gone cream and I can't see myself going back to powder any time soon. For killer cheekbones and a warmed up glow, I go in with my Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Sculpting Duo. With my fingers I just swipe it in the hollows of my cheeks then grab my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and buff it all in, adding some to my cheeks and temples as I go to give me sun kissed skin. To highlight then I'm using the beautiful cream highlight in this same kit and dabbing it on the high points of my face. It's totally awesome. I'm also having a cream moment with blushers too at the moment and the Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow Blush in Tansoleil is allllll kinds of awesomeness. The coral colour doesn't only give me an instant pop of peach to my face it adds a beautiful natural glow that keeps me glowin' all day. The Clinique Chubby Stick Eye Tint in Lavish Lilac is one to grab for the summer girls. Easy to apply both in the mornings and on the go, this is a summer makeup bag staple. A little iridescent in colour, this metallic purples glides onto the lid and lasts all day without sliding off. My brows have kind of been left to do their own thing recently, I'm fully embracing the bushy brow so I do have to tame them and keep those stray hairs in place so this is when my NARS Brow Gel comes in handy. I've been finishing off the eyes with one layer of YSL Baby Doll Mascara to give me length, volume and a big old curl.

I'm actually going between two lip products right now, both peach in colour and a dream to apply. Starting with my Benefit Cha Cha Tint, this coral stain keeps lips hydrated and bursting in colour with a finish that lasts hours. Other days I've been dabbing on some colour from the same Kevyn Aucoin cream blush for something more creamy and intense.

What products are taking up space in your makeup bag right now?
