Rodial Beauty Review

With an on going admiration for Rodial skincare and beauty, I’ve been struggling to find anything that matches up to the unique formulas, exquisite product ranges and pure luxe makeup. The majority of my current go to beauty stash is made up of Rodial beauty, from glow giving bases to pigmented blushes, it’s starting to take over my makeup collection and that, I am more than happy with. The quality of each product is quite extraordinary, with ground breaking innovation in each, every Rodial product is high performing and results driven. The most recent additions to my Rodial addiction are some really pretty Spring shades that are perfect for a makeup transition as we slowly start switching around our beauty bags. Bright pink blushes, brightening lip scrubs and a natural bronze, here’s my current Rodial picks and what I’m loving for the upcoming season.

Super Acids X-Treme Hangover Mask*

Rodial’s triple action, deep cleanse, exfoliating and restorative mask is a perfect skin fix as we struggle through the on going cold, wind and rain. The fruit acids gently buff away at any dead skin cells but also work on creating a smoother, more radiant surface for us to work with when it comes to applying makeup. High technology is used to improve the appearance of fine lines and creates a lifted look for a more sculpted and defined face that looks plump and youthful. Named the hangover mask, this is perfect for when you’ve had little sleep, whether you’ve been partying or had a long night, it’s very invigoration and makes you feel alive, fresh and ready to walk out the door. This is definitely a current must have mask for the season, perfect for a last minute skin fix when in a rush and ideal for a morning pick me up.

Lip Scrub*

The Rodial mango and vitamin E lip scrub is perfect for on the go use or as part of your morning and evening routine. With a twist up applicator it’s mess free and ensures an even, smooth coverage. As the sugar scrub gently exfoliates, the Vitamin E hydrates to lead supple, moisturised lips, ready for a layer of lipstick. I always do this in the morning before I put any makeup on then apply a thick layer of lip balm on top so make sure my lips are hydrated for when I apply lip liner. My lips always look a lot healthier and in better condition after use and I love doing that extra bit of care each day.

Skin Tint SPF 20*

For me, Rodial’s best beauty product, I’m in love with this luxurious feeling tinted moisturiser that enhances your complexion instead of masking and gives an even base with natural dewiness and a tint of colour. I’ve been wearing this over a hydrating moisturiser on days when I’m not doing anything special or don’t need much coverage and it’s more than enough, providing a feeling of wearing nothing but a flawless, your skin but better look.

Insta Glam Bronzing Powder*

A bronzer to absolute swoon over this Spring/Summer, with love for this as big as my love for NARS Laguna, it’s a perfect everyday bronze for a light dusting of colour and some added definition. Whether you wear it to warm up your cheeks or to add some subtle contour, it’s incredibly finely milled and applies beautiful without looking too dark or streaky, leaving a warm glow.

Blusher*

Another powder product to look out for, Copacabana is the perfect Spring blush to add healthy radiant cheeks and an instant glow. Worn alone with the skin tint, this gives a very bare looking, natural look but with the bronzer, it’s goddess like and incredibly glamorous. The bright pink shade will be a go to colour this S/S, I’m dreaming of wearing it out on my summer holiday!

Glamobrow*

Grooming my brows in the morning is made ultra easy with this dual ended precision brow pencil. The ultra fine tip ensures an easy, glide on application, providing a perfect even amount of colour across the brow, creating definition on the arch where needed. I don’t like to add in too much extra shape to my brow so simply focus on enhancing the natural arch by using upwards brush strokes to fill in any sparse gaps. I also brush my brows first with the spiral bristle brush but then go in after each stroke of colour to ensure it looks natural.

XXL Lip Liner*

I’m absolutely loving a nude lip at the moment and have found my perfect colour combination, starting with this from Rodial, in the shade Baby, a soft pink. Think Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk, just a little more nude. The formula of the Rodial lip liners are to die for, ever so creamy making them glide onto the lip, creating a natural line that really boosts your lip shape. They are very highly pigmented and brilliant lasting power, once on, they do not budge! With plumping complex, there’s no need to over line with these as the Vegetal Filling Spheres and Hyaluronic Acid ensures lips are plumped all day long.

The finished look - one layer of Skin Tint in Hamptons, a dusting of bronzer and a light application of Cococabana blush with a naturally filled in brow and Baby lip liner all over!

Have you tried any of Rodial makeup? What do you think of this makeup look?
