The NARS Face
There's something incredibly satisfying about finding a brand that manages to cover every aspect of your face, Laura Mercier nailed it with the tinted moisturiser but when it comes to a full face, I've been collecting NARS for years now so have managed to grab one of everything to get the face done. NARS has just been ticking all the right boxes in all the right places so I thought I'd gather some products together and create an all NARS face to share with you. I've been using each of these products alone for a while now and I love the results but when paired together, waheyyyy you are left with something good...
Firstly, I smooth on a squidge of the Multi Protect Primer to balance the skin and create the perfect canvas for my choice of base. The creamy texture is incredibly light to touch which hydrates the skin where it needs and gets rid of any excess oils that are lurking on your face. For flawless looking skin with a medium coverage then I buff in one pump of Sheer Glow Foundation which seriously is one of the best foundations I've tried. With a natural looking, glowing finish this creamy lightweight formula glides onto the skin and blends in beautifully. A base I have been reaching for from NARS the past week is the Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser which really is your skin but better in a bottle. With an SPF 30, this tinted cream protects your skin, reduces the appearance of any redness and gives a soft radiant finish which is much lighter than the foundation.
To add some definition back into my face, I dab on my South Beach Multiple. If you're going to pick up any product from NARS then one of these should be top of the list. These multi purpose sticks are idea for lips, cheeks and eyes, making them the perfect product for on the go beauty. I simply apply this with my fingers to the tops of my cheeks. The creamy formula blends into the skin, highlighting as your blend. Once the bronzing up is done, it's time for blush and my favourite ever NARS Blush is Super Orgasm - a pigmented rose gold with a soft, highlight finish that lasts all day and adds the perfect pop of colour to the apples of your cheeks.
With base and cheeks done it's time to move onto the eyes and my most loved and most used product ever brought from NARS is the Dual Intensity Palette which contains 8 beautiful metallic shades which are bursting with pigmentation and give a super intense burst of colour. The powders can be used wet for a more subtle/natural look or they can be used wet for a really intense, metallic finish which makes your eyes pop and glow. Leaving my lashes bare, I go straight onto brows where I take my Brow Gel and brush through the hairs, taming the strays and locking them in place all day through the wind and rain.
Finishing the look off with one of my all time favourite lip products, it's the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bahama. These incredibly creamy, rich pencils are so pigmented they leave a block of colour on the lips in one stripe which lasts all day with a matte finish.
So theres my NARS face featuring some of my favourite products from the brand. A look that can be worn both day and night and each product can be worn for a natural looking finish or built up for something more full coverage.
