Luscious Lips With Dior

The one beauty product I can never seem to put down or resist is lipsticks, I don't spend hours testing and trying colours like I do when looking for a new foundation, I just grab one from the shelf and take it home with me. After paying, obviously. By now you all know the most loved brand for lipsticks is MAC and don't get me wrong, they are fab and I love them from the shade selection to the different finishes, but sometimes it is nice to try something different and instead of going for the usual NARS, Dolce & Gabanna or even Revlon from the drugstore, Dior sprung to mind and I wanted to give some of their lip products a go...

The Dior Addict Fluid Stick in 'Whisper Beige' is a new favourite and is actually a bit of another MAC Velvet Teddy colour, just in liquid form.  For an ultra smooth, soft lip then this your guy. The creamy, richly pigmented product glides onto the lip with a simple doe-foot applicator, leaving a long lasting glossy shine that keeps lips hydrated and nourished. Everything from the packaging to the finish of this fabulous product makes me happy, the beautiful colour and shine provide an intense burst of moisture. With lipstick, gloss and balm properties, this rounds up to be a great every day or evening lip product that looks effortless, chic and fresh.

The other option I recommend you all try out is the Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick and I have the shade 'Lucky', a beautiful raspberry pink with a slight coral tint. These are very different to your standard choice of lipstick as the vibrant colours are so radiant that they leave an almost wet look to the lips which hold colour and boldness for hours with a shine and a lot of hydration. The smooth cream product is incredibly easy to apply with a precise nib so you can use a brush for an extra perfect lip but they work just as well applied straight from the bullet onto the lip. When I'm feeling brave and gravitating towards something more bold and in your face then this is a great option as it's comfortable and long lasting without being matte and drying.

Now I can't do a post on Dior lipsticks without mentioning the beautiful packaging... Both some in the classic sleek cases that snap shut and click into place with a little twist. If you're feeling spendy and want to treat your lips with something new, then you know which counter to hit up next...
