The Classic Collection: Concealer

It's time for the second post of The Classic Collection series, how exciting! This week I am telling you about my 2 favourite concealers, a drugstore and a high end pick.

If you want those dark circles to disappear then this is your answer. Benefit Erase Paste. I've been using this for a year now and it is one that I will always be repurchasing! Coming in a small pot, is a creamy concealer which covers those dark circles, brightens under the eye and covers any annoying blemishes you have. The consistency of this is pretty thick, but it doesn't cake, dry out my skin or crease, it blends beautifully on top of my foundation and instantly awakens my face. A little goes a long way with this so it lasts months on end! The peachy undertones counteract any blue discolouration which is why it works so well! This is one of those concealers which works best having been warmed up, so i apply it with my fingers to get the most effective results. The price of this is not pretty, ยฃ18.50, but if you're a makeup addict like me, you will become addicted and think of any reason to see past the price!

Choosing my drugstore concealer was just so easy, I didn't even have to think twice about it. Maybelline Instant Anti Age Rewind. It really is the best from the drugstore, I wear mine everyday and what makes it so good is that you can wear it under the eye or around your face. As you can see in the photo, I need to stock up on this as I am running low, ahhhhh! I must admit, the lid of this does get a bit messy, but it doesn't ever come out the lid so there is no need to worry! The applicator for this is a little sponge, and you twist it up in the middle to get more product out. The texture is light and easily blends on the skin. For this one I apply where I need it and then push it in with my beauty blender to make sure it is all blended in properly. It has a pretty good coverage in terms of disguising signs of fatigue and dark circles and it subtly brightens the area. For ยฃ7.99, I don't think there are any excuses not to pick one up!
